The Sperrins Archaeological Survey is a new and unique course for amateur archaeologists and interested parties to explore the world of surveying and experimental archaeological studies.
Based near Plumbridge, County Tyrone,
the course is being launched by Northern Archaeological Consultancy, one of Northern Ireland’s leading commercial archaeological companies.
Participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience of surveying archaeological monuments in the field. There will also be a programme of fieldtrips, talks and archaeologically-themed experiments where participants will construct and test the everyday technology of the prehistoric past.
